The organization has been organizing targeted interventions for controlling the spread of AIDS in Siddhpur and Unjha since 2001. In the program area, people suffering from various sexually transmitted diseases are identified and they and their partner are provided medical care. There is counseling support for behavior change for them and others indulging in such risky sexual activities. Various events and programs are organized to generate public awareness on HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. People associated with commercial sex work have been organized into self help group and given training for henna application, stitching, making incense sticks, purses, cold drinks, phenyl etc. in an attempt to provide them viable alternatives to commercial sex work.
In the program area total 900 people (MSM &FSW)suffering from various sexually transmitted diseases are identified and they and their partners are provided medical care.
This programme was conducted in 75 schools of Sidgpur , Unjha and Satalasana Block . The aim was to create awareness of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted disease amongst the students. More than 15000 students had been covered under this programme
This programme was implemented in un served and underserved remote areas where to provide medical help is the great problem. We covered 8 villages of Satlasana Block. The main objects of the programme was to provide medical services to Women and children , link with Government services and reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality Rate.
